Altus Public Schools and the Altus Police Department are proactively working together to decrease and/or prevent the sharing of inappropriate images through electronic messages and on social media apps among our teens. Images of a pornographic nature including but not limited to nude images or images of uncovered body parts are considered a misdemeanor and will be turned over to the Altus Police Department for possible prosecution.
