Robotics – Katelyn Plautz

Robotics is a class that is designed to introduce students to the basics of robotics using the Lego EV3 Robot. Students learn to use feedback from sensors, measurement and applied mathematics to program their robot to navigate its environment. The programming is done using the Mindstorms block programming platform. In teams, students complete missions as assigned each year by the Lego League and they have the opportunity to compete at the local level. There are advancement opportunities for the state and national levels as well.
