Dear Altus Junior High parents and staff:

This morning before school, an Altus Junior High student experienced a medical emergency that required immediate professional medical attention. Administration quickly activated the RAVE emergency response system, and 911 was contacted. Emergency responders arrived on-site and transported the student to the hospital for further medical care.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff are always a top priority at Altus Public Schools. We are grateful to our administrators, staff members, and local emergency responders for their quick response and care during this situation.
