Dear Altus Junior High parents and staff:

This afternoon, an Altus Junior High student experienced a medical emergency that required immediate professional medical attention. A teacher quickly activated the RAVE emergency response system, and 911 was called. The student’s parents were also notified. Emergency responders arrived on-site and transported the student to Jackson County Hospital for further medical care.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff are always a top priority at Altus Public Schools. We are grateful to our administrators, staff members, and local emergency responders for their quick response and care during this situation.

Thank you for your support of Altus Junior High

Sincerely,

Nathan Loftiss

Principal, Altus Junior High
